The Client: Gidon Winters, Ph.D. | Dead Sea-Arava Science Center, Central Arava Branch
The need: lighting with a dynamic photosynthetic spectrum for climate change research using seagrass.
The Solution: LED dynamic Spectrum lights.
We came up with light characterization and planning, supplied the products (installation) and integration support, and provided after-sales service.
Oh, and one more thing: This research is conducted in the southern Israeli desert, the Arava, where temperatures can reach over 45 degrees celsius. While working on this project, we learned that seagrass is an excellent indicator of the future effects of global warming, which Dr. Winters is researching. Sounds hot!
