The need: Photosynthetic lighting for research on supplemental lighting on leafy greens grown in a greenhouse using a hydroponic NFT system.
The Solution: Fluence Broad spectrum VYPR 3X2 series.
We characterized light treatments, made light plans, helped with integration, and provided after-sale service. We also joined forces and led joint research with several stakeholders.
Oh, and one more thing: A hydroponic greenhouse that grows leafy greens with an owner who is one of our best friends. Not necessarily in that order. This specific greenhouse and its owner have a special place in the REMY history book. This is one of the main contributors to why we do what we do and how we do it.
